Clipboards in hand and wonder in their eyes, Year 2 set off on a magical Geography adventure to Jubilee Park as part of our Fieldwork Festival!
They became mapmakers, habitat hunters and weather watchers — charting their journey through leafy trails, exploring microclimates under tree canopies and spotting signs of wildlife all around. There were whispers of mini-beasts in the grass, secret paths to be mapped and imaginative habitats designed with care and creativity.
It was a celebration of the outdoors, fieldwork, of learning beyond the classroom and of seeing the world just a little more closely than before.
Here’s to our young geographers — turning the ordinary into the extraordinary, one muddy bootstep at a time!
