This week Year 4 swapped their desks for compasses and clipboards as they became fearless explorers during our Fieldwork Festival! With creativity guiding them and teamwork at the heart of it all they set about designing and navigating their very own orienteering courses.
Using maps, landmarks and a dash of determination the children turned the familiar into the extraordinary — transforming their surroundings into challenge zones, checkpoints and adventures in every direction. They showed brilliant spatial thinking, collaboration and plenty of perseverance as they raced to complete their routes.
It was a week of movement, imagination and geographical discovery — a proud tradition that reminds us how vibrant and dynamic learning can be when we step outside the classroom.
