As Black History Month closes, we are pleased to share more of our Riverley Radio shows filmed across the month. The show was launched to provide a powerful platform for individuals to share their stories and perspectives in line with this year’s theme ‘Reclaiming Narratives’. The show amplifies voices within the community, ensuring that pupils have the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue and participate actively in key oracy skills. By including pupil voice in the radio segments, children are encouraged to reflect on their own experiences, fostering a sense of empowerment, belonging and ownership over this platform. We don’t want the impact to stop here. Riverley Radio is looking to be relaunched as a year long podcast under our Representation 365 umbrella – watch this space!
