While continuing their topic of ‘Animals’ this week, Year 1 have been scientists and programmers during our Proud Tradition: Griffin Science Symposium.
Linking their Computing and Science lessons, children learnt about the features of a fish, reptile and amphibian during their Science lessons. They extended their knowledge of fish by creating an underwater story on Scratch Jr and developed their Programming skills by instructing their characters to move using the correct buttons.
