We launched Imagine: Awe and Wander – Fieldwork Festival 2025 with a truly inspiring visit from Callum, an explorer and National Geographic researcher. In a captivating launch assembly, Callum shared tales of his rainforest adventures, showing the children real photos from his expeditions, traditional dances, tools, cultural artefacts, and fascinating plants he encountered along the way. He spoke passionately about the people who live in the rainforest and the impact deforestation is having on their lives and the environment. The children were enthralled, asking brilliant questions and dreaming of where their own curiosity might take them. Callum reminded us that exploration begins with observation, wonder, and the courage to ask questions — sparking excitement across the school as we begin our fieldwork journeys!
