What better way to spark curiosity than to meet the person who brought our outdoor spaces to life? As part of Imagine: Awe and Wander – Fieldwork Festival 2025, EYFS children were taken on a guided tour by Damien — the creative force behind the design and care of our school grounds. From the colourful mural wall filled with memories of theatrical performances, to the peaceful bird-watching area, table tennis zone, and the many plants he’s lovingly placed, Damien shared the stories behind each space. The children asked brilliant questions and listened with wonder as they discovered how these areas were made just for them. It was a joyful journey through familiar places, made even more meaningful by the maker himself.
