As part of Imagine: Awe and Wander – Fieldwork Festival 2025, our nursery children set off on their very first fieldwork adventure to the wetlands! With wellies on and wonder in their eyes, they explored the squelchy paths, spotted birds in the reeds, and felt the wind on their cheeks. This fieldwork trip was all about discovering the world through senses, questions and curiosity — the very first steps in becoming thoughtful little geographers. From puddle jumps to pond watching, every moment was a chance to explore and learn in the great outdoors. What a wonderful start to their fieldwork journey!
