As part of the Science Symposium, Year 5 set off on an exciting expedition to the Museum of London Docklands, where history, innovation, and science intertwined to tell the story of our ever-changing world.
From the mighty machines that powered Londonās docks to the forces of nature that shaped the River Thames, our young scientists explored how science and engineering have transformed trade, transport, and daily life. Hands-on exhibits and interactive displays brought the past to life, revealing the hidden science behind towering cranes, whirling waterways, and the ingenious inventions that built the city.
