Today, our Head Boy and Head Girl, Zayn and Elvan, joined children across Waltham Forest for an exciting Youth Forum. At the borough’s Town Hall, the children collaborated with their peers, focusing on the environment for young people in the community. Zayn and Elvan were very passionate about valuable learning environments to encourage creative and critical thinking outside of school. They articulately drew upon their experiences at Riverley’s Research Centre: a creative space for the children to further develop their understanding of a topic or to simply gratify their curiosity.
Well done to both Zayn and Elvan on a very successful day. They both look forward to being a part of the borough’s Youth Parliament and using their voice to influence new and exciting ventures in their school and community.
